Located in the heart of Florentin, this preservation project focuses on a historic building originally designed in 1935 by architect Joseph Berlin in the International Style. The design carefully preserves the historic street façade, characterized by clean horizontal lines and wide openings, while adding three new contemporary floors and a partial penthouse in an integral, modern design. The project maintains the building’s original historic use — commercial on the ground floor and residential units above — now featuring 14 new urban apartments adapted to modern living. This balanced approach combines architectural heritage conservation with contemporary urban development needs, contributing both to preserving Tel Aviv’s architectural legacy and to the ongoing revitalization of Florentin’s urban fabric.
